Why I Do This Work
Therapy, to me, is sacred work. It’s about bearing witness to someone’s pain — and their joy. It’s about honoring the protective strategies that once kept them safe, while gently making space for something new.
I’m drawn to this work because I believe in the power of story and the resilience of the human spirit. I believe that the roles we’ve had to play — the peacemaker, the achiever, the one who never needed anything — are never the full story. I believe healing happens when we feel seen in our complexity, not judged for it.
I don’t think therapy is about “fixing” what’s wrong. I think it’s about making meaning, connecting dots, and coming back into relationship with yourself. It’s about tending to what’s been ignored, offering compassion to what’s been exiled, and slowly building a life that reflects who you really are.
This work moves me. It humbles me. And it keeps me endlessly curious. If you’re ready to look beneath the surface and explore the layers of who you are and how you got here — I’d be honored to walk with you.
