Meet Marlow
Somewhere along the way, many of us learn that love has conditions — be good, be helpful, don’t be too much. We mold ourselves to fit what’s expected, often without realizing the cost. I work with people who have spent years trying to earn love through self-erasure — shaped by early family dynamics, rigid belief systems, chronic illness, or complex trauma. I help adults unlearn those patterns and begin seeing themselves as worthy of care, just as they are.
My approach is warm, curious, and collaborative. I blend attachment-based, trauma-informed therapies like EMDR, parts work, schema therapy, and narrative work to explore how past experiences shaped the way you see yourself — and gently begin to shift what no longer serves you.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m an animal lover through and through — I have a Border Collie/Great Pyrenees mix, named Amelia, who I’m completely obsessed with. I recharge through creative outlets like photography, getting lost in books (everything from fantasy and thrillers to memoirs and psychology), and spending time with the people I love. I’m usually in comfy clothes — joggers, sweatshirts, sneakers — and I try to bring that same grounded, relaxed energy into sessions.
My own experience with chronic illness, grief, and uncertainty led me to therapy. It taught me how deeply healing it can be to feel seen, to let go of old roles, and to make space for new ways of being. That work changed my life — now I’m honored to walk with others as they do their own.
